Miche Classic Sedona is a deep, rich espresso brown in unbelievably soft faux leather, embellished with antique brass chains at a repeating diagonal across the shell are woven into place. Miche August Fearless Shells & Handles ~ Join the Party!

The newest Miche line – Fearless – brings us not just edgy, stylish new shells, but a wonderful innovation for accessorizing the newest bags as well as old favorites. Read on to learn more, and to join our online party!

All week, I have been reviewing the newest Miche line, Fearless, which I think is simply fabulous. There are two more shells to cover, and then these amazing, interchangeable handles you see above. I’ll cover these in detail for you – pricing, how they work – all of it!

Demi Clover is one of my (many) favorites in the newest line. With rich teal faux leather, lightly rubbed with bronzing and gentle gathers along sweeping, curving diagonal lines, Clover is all about understated elegance. Luscious color and flowing lines tell a story of fashion forward confidence. Striking with the silver chains of the Interchangeable Handles.

Miche Demi Clover is available to order August 1st.

The Petite Roxy is small, but not to be taken lightly. Super soft, pebble textured faux leather in deepest black is highlighted by contrasting stitching in white across the front and around the end pockets. The antique brass Miche name plate, and rivet detailing make this a perfect bag for use with the new Petite Handle with antique brass chain.

Miche Petite Roxy is available to order August 1st.

And now, at last (drum roll, please) the new, Interchangeable Handles! They are fabulous, they are fun, and they are finally available to order tomorrow!

The Interchangeable Handles bring the customizability of the Miche Bags to a whole new level. First, there are 3 handles sets. You can select the silver chains set, which comes with a set of 2 supple, subtly textured black strap handles, and a set of 2 croc textured rich brown strap handles, and 4 silver chains. The chains attach to each end of the strap, and then to the bag, either 2 handles or one, as you prefer. The set of silver chains, with the brown and black straps is $24.95, and offers tremendous options in styling your current Miche bags, and those that are new that you will soon be purchasing. Then there is the set with the antique brass handles. Again, you will receive the 2 sets of black straps and the 2 croc textured brown straps, and now 4 chains in the lovely, new Antique Brass so heavily featured in the Fearless line. $24.95 for the set.

But, perhaps you are like me, and just need to have it all? The Ultimate Set includes it all!

This is the ultimate in customizability - the 2 black straps, the 2 croc textured brown straps, 4 silver chains, 4 antique brass chains all for $39.95. The combined length of one of these chain handles is 26.5 inches, with a handle drop of 12.5 inches. The straps are .75 inch wide. These handles are very upscale in appearance and feel. And the chains easily accommodate the rope fashion handles, and the cream and croc fashion handles currently on sale for just $6.45 per set. I can’t wait to play!

If you want to highlight the antique brass details of some of the new bags, but don’t want something quite so splashy as the Interchangeable chain handles, consider these options. The Petite Handle with the antique brass chain is just $5.95. For larger bags, connect your current handles with the antique brass carabiner rings! A set of 4 1-inch rings is $5.95, the set of 4 1.5-inch carabiners is $8.95. I use the 1.5-inch carabiner rings when I attach a single handle to my Dem bag, and carry it hobo-style. An inexpensive way to add your individual style and detail to a new shell.

The Ultimate Set of Interchangeable Handles is an absolute must for me, and I think I really

need the Demi Joella (left) with silver chains, I think. And the Kendra (right) with the antique brass – definitely! But what about Clover? Or the new Hope? – Gorgeous!

Miche Bags : Express yourself with Color : Free Bling w/ $60 order!

How to incorporate color into your style easily and affordably… Some of us love color, but are unsure of how to use it in fashion. On the other hand, we also don’t want to go broke by investing in an entire new wardrobe every time the color trends change. So while we admire others with a colorful flair, or dream of indulging in the luscious hues available, we always wind up playing it safe with the neutral colors we feel comfortable with.

This is a good place to start! Feeling comfortable with your look is the second step to looking great! (The first step is good health. Shiny hair, great smile, beautiful skin, nice figure — all these start with good health). So start with strong pieces in neutral shades to make a good looking outfit that flatters you and you feel good in. Neutal does not mean boring!

Each of these demonstration outfits will start with the same four foundation pieces shown above. A good pair of jeans, an ivory lace tee, a beautiful khaki jacket and great shoes in carmel. Each of these pieces is stylish and flexible in part because they are classic in nature – they will never go out of style, and in part because each is a neutral color. All shades of white, black, brown and denim blue as well as metallic gold and silver are considered fashion neutrals, which means any other color will go well with them. If you are unsure of your use of color, invest in good pieces that you love in neutral colors.

Then you can add a few colorful accessories in the same hues to add personality to the outfit and experiment with expressing yourself through color. Above, Miche Demi Margaret (still available in my inventory) sets the teal color tone followed by the bracelet, earrings and pendant. Below, I added rich coral tones in the Miche Bag Patty, the bracelet, earrings and necklace.

This is not to say an all-neutral outfit complete with accessories in neutral shades should be avoided. It is a simple way to easy chic. Miche Demi Beverly in ivory, and jewelry in gold keep the colors all in the neutral shades, but gives it a finished look:

Most of all ~ have fun with color! When you are comfortable adding colorful accessories to an outfit of neutrals, you can explore complimentary colors, and using a color wheel to determine good color combinations and accents. We will be discussing the use of color again and in greater depth in future posts. For now, have fun! And when you are more comfortable using color, just dive right in and make a splash!

Miche Celebrates Hope with Inspirational Bags and Shells!

Proceeds from each sale are donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where 100% of all Miche donations go directly to research for a cure. Every 3-4 months, Miche releases an entirely new design of Hope shells and retires earlier models. Find your Style With Miche Bags and Shells!

So often, the professionals make style seem so complicated that regular women feel a bit intimidated about trying something new and getting it wrong. Or they try everything new, and feel so uncomfortable with the image they are projecting, that in fact they do get it wrong. Remember that those who set the styles and trends for a season are doing so for their benefit – not yours or mine. They are trying to sell a look that even their professional models cannot carry off without extreme hair and makeup they would never wear off a cat walk.

For ourselves, we should use style to enhance and complement our own features, coloring and best qualities. To help us feel our best and feel at ease so we can be at our best. If you feel stuck with a style that seems “safe”, but doesn’t reflect a part of your personality you wish you could enjoy more – experiment with a few accessories. Try a new color you are drawn to, but don’t usually wear. If it compliments your complexion, wear it in earrings or a blouse to draw attention to your confident smile.
