They’re here, and available to order! The newest Miche Luxe line is very high-end with a new level of intricacy of style and detailing. The Luxe line of shells are just as versatile and interchangeable as the traditional Miche shells you love, but with lots of bling, edgy looks and undeniable allure. The Luxe line was created to have the look and feel of luxury without the burden of a heavy price tag. There is no need to have a million dollars in the bank to look and feel like a million dollars! It’s all about feeling special!

Each Luxe shell comes with matching handles that continue the design elements of the shell, a coordinating imprinted Miche Luxe key fob and a dust cover for careful storage. This new Luxe line is a test release, so supplies are limited. There are no bundling options available for the Luxe line. With so much stressing of the limited quantities, some customers, as well as some representatives, have become a bit panicked about the possibility of these shells selling out over the weekend. Corporate has now assured us they feel they have ordered enough that most of the shells should last the month of September. They also encourage us to ensure that all parties and orders for these beauties are planned for the first half of the month so no customers are disappointed.

So what to make of this somewhat conflicting information? I no longer think there is a danger of these shells selling out the first weekend. Corporate had taken a long look at the quick sell outs we have had this year, as well as all of the buzz around the new Luxe line before making this announcement.

But I would suggest that if you have made your decision – don’t wait to place your order. And I think it wise to plan to order your favorite(s) before the middle of the month.

Miche August Fearless Collection Colors ~ Join our Party!

When first looking at the August 2012 Miche collection, before you really see the wonderful details or really take in the clever hardware and the edgy styling points you are immediately immersed in color. Rich shades, many hues, and lots of lush color. In my previous article, I focused on some of the fabulous patterns to be found in the collection. Today is about the color palette. This collection is inspired by the rich colors of the African sunset and the wild textures of the Australian Outback: strong yet beautiful. Glorious!

The rich ochre, faux leather of the Miche Prima Breanne, reminiscent of the sunsets over the Kalahari desert, is lightly marbled in its texture. Contrasting black stitching lends interesting shape and slight gathering. The antique brass Miche name plate is a perfect highlight for this shell, like the last glint of the setting sun. $39.95

Rich teal in pebbled faux leather is gathered in lush ripples and folds that catch the light on Miche Demi Clover. Adding to the color depth of this bag, there is a feather-light rubbing of bronze that seems almost hand done. You won’t notice it if you don’t look closely, instead the bag just looks incredibly rich and sumptuous. $39.95 Gorgeous as is, even better with Interchangeable handles with silver chains or Black Rope Handles

Miche Demi Myranda, shown left with the Interchangeable handles with antique brass chains, is a luscious color of plum flavored with candied raspberries. Her faux leather is lightly marbled in texture, and gathered in multiple generous pleats along the front and sides. An open pocket in the back supplies a surprise detail – just the right size to keep your cell phone handy. $39.95

For a less expensive option to continue the antique brass details, use the carabiner rings in antique brass, either a set of 4 1-inch rings for $5.95, or 4 1.5-inch rings for $8.95 with the handles you already have.

Miche Demi Flo is rendered in a glowing goldenrod yellow, contrasted with white stitching in a fanciful diamond pattern. A lovely color for autumn, reminiscent of turning leaves, this is also perfect for spring and summer’s floral tones. $34.95

So pretty for fall with the Black Rope Handles, try the Linked Fashion Handles in White in summer to bring out the decorative stitching.

The black of ebony and obsidian are not bleak, but almost seem to glow with life. That is the sense you get with the exquisite Miche Demi Eve. $34.95 Her super soft, richly grained faux leather gleams as the light catches on the gentle gathers and the intricate weaving with black cording detail. I love this bag, and I style her with the Black Rope Handles attached to the silver chains of the Interchangeable Handles. Magical!

The Interchangeable Handles with Antique Brass and/or Silver Chain Handles provide a wonderful way to further accessorize and complement the coloration of your new Miche bags as well as your old favorites. The antique brass looks just that. Not simply a flat color tone, instead both the carabiners and the chains appear irregularly colored and aged, giving them a very rich look. The silver chains are far nicer in weight, shape and quality than the chain handles that have been retired. And the softly grained black straps and those in croc textured brown are a very upscale element to add to your total look. Proceeds from each sale are donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where 100% of all Miche donations go directly to research for a cure. The Must-Have Miche Bag Accessory – Black Rope Handles!

Everything tastes better with whipped cream – don’t you think? I’m not saying it would get me to start eating brussel sprouts, but I do wonder when a waitress or barista asks if I want whipped cream on that pudding/pie/cafe mocha… What could they possibly mean? Of course I want it!

I am beginning to think the new April release Black Rope Fashion Handles by Miche are the whipped cream of the chic bag world. Every bag I try it on looks even better than it did before! This is a must-have accessory for your Miche collection:

Of course it compliments the Demi, as if it were made for them. I find I like it best with the Demi if I use two carabiners on each side, and just one rope handle:

2012 Miche April Spring Releases Are Available!

Fun, fashionable and finally here! Meet the Miche April 2012 releases, now available to order:

I do love animal prints, and the sassy Skylar is no exception. A perfect accent for the spring 2012 black and white fashions. Small in weight and price, but big on style.

Sophisticated and chic and all things sweet! Miche Petite Lily is a welcome addition to any wardrobe. Add an elegant dash of color to a little black dress, or a bit of playful sass to a jeans a tee-shirt day.

Whimsy meets wild in this large-scale abstract faux leopard print in black, white and mauvey purple! Miche Classic Harper features end pockets and a zippered side pocket for storage in style.

Sneak Peak at Miche’s April 2012 Releases!

April is nearly here, and so are the new Miche releases! Rich jewel tones, abstract animal prints and accessories abound! Take a look as these previews. These shells will be available to order April 1st.

I love the color palette! Skylar, the Miche Petite in the snow leopard print and Robie, the Miche Prima in the textured amethyst are really ringing my bell. Which of these are chiming for your attention? Check back April 1st for all the details!

And much as I love my leopard print soft wallet (are we noticing a pattern here?) these newest releases are just wonderful for spring:

And a fanciful coin purse is surely better than my habit of letting the change rattle around in the bottom of my purse!

I so enjoy customizing my look and accessories. The new black rope handles are a must have for so many of my favorite Miche Classic, Demi and Prima shells. And a favorite customer will surely want to use it with her Petite!

I absolutely need these handles for my new fav, Miche Demi Ivy, and how great will Miche Demi Lisa look with these? Or Prima Teresa, Rihanna, Oakley, Kali, Red Hope, Valerie, Katy, Neisha and… We haven’t even begun on the Classics!

OK… So these are a must have for just about any Miche shell collection.

It is difficult to see in this image, or in those following, but Taffy, the white on the far right, has a lovely carved white rose charm that I simply must have!

I will provide a better image when I have this lovely in my possession.
