Miche November 2012 Shells Preview! Get Your Winter Style On!

Miche’s newest collection is out – and it is gorgeous! November 2012 brings sophisticated colors, chic patterns and intricate detailing, wonderful textures and take-charge attitude!

We can look forward to 2 new Petite shells, 3 Classics, 7 Demis and 2 Primas with fabulous style! Plus 1 new Hip Bag, 2 new fashion handles, and 2 wristlet evening bags! This is quite a wonderful collection! I will be reviewing each piece in detail over the coming days, so let’s get started!

The newest Petite for winter is Ariana, in a faux croc texture marbled in lush tones of plum and Merlot purple. Dashing black strap detailing makes this little beauty big on impact.

Just how fabulous can you be? This is the question I imagine Jayma, Miche’s designer, asked herself when she created this shell. Deepest pine green is the backdrop for a fanciful leopard print that makes such a dramatic statement. Three black buttons and piping set in at a diagonal across the front make the chic factor soar off the charts.

Miche Classic Becky is a spectacular choice for outfits all in black, but also makes a fantastic statement with tans, greens, greys and browns – but also burgundy and purple! Fall 2012 ~ Fun and Fabulous w/ Miche Bags and Accessories!

Miche bags are my favorite fashion accessory (big surprise!) for many reasons. I love the way one purse can quickly and easily be changed to a completely different look and style by changing the outer “shells”. This enables me to keep my one purse organized – never at a loss for which purse has my checkbook! – but always stay stylish by complimenting or providing an accent to my outfit. And I love playing with the different looks this one fashion accessory can give me. Not just the interchangeable shells, but all of the ways to customize by using different handles, incorporating charms, etc. In this post, we are going to look at some of the many looks of the Cinderella-sized Miche bag – the Demi.

Miche Demi Joella (top) playful and on trend with a bold print and vivid red accents. We will see a lot of both this fall season. Miche Demi Myranda (above) is more quietly sophisticated, with marbled faux leather in plum tones and heavy pleating details. The same purse – totally different looks!

Miche Demi Tina (right) perfectly illustrates my point about using your accessories to keep your look fresh and current, while staying true to your own best look and style. Is there anything more timeless than jeans and a white shirt? But with red in the patterned heels, at her throat and wrist, and then a bold, beautiful red print bag, there is no doubt this is today’s woman on the go.

Stylish, now, yet classic.

Sexy and sophisticated, the glamor of black will never go out of style. But to keep it looking chic, and flattering to you, be sure it is cut well, and flatters your figure. If the color appeals to you, but does not complement your skin tones, wear a colorful scarf at your neck to draw the eye to your face, and use the color of the scarf to bring out your own coloring.

Anything but dull, the lovely Miche Demi Eve in black has wonderful texture from the intricate weaving of black cord and the fabulously soft faux leather. Gathers at either side of the woven panel give a soft and alluring appeal.

There are times when the sultry look of black fits my mood perfectly, but then there are those when I just revel in luscious color! Above, the Miche Luxe Demi Lincoln is pure whimsical chic. Perfect for any season, its color and sparkle add personality and charm to any occasion, and can be dressed down as easily as it dresses up! Fabulous!

With so much stressing of the limited quantities, some customers, as well as some representatives, have become a bit panicked about the possibility of these shells selling out over the weekend. Corporate has now assured us they feel they have ordered enough that most of the shells should last the month of September. They also encourage us to ensure that all parties and orders for these beauties are planned for the first half of the month so no customers are disappointed.

So what to make of this somewhat conflicting information? I no longer think there is a danger of these shells selling out the first weekend. Corporate had taken a long look at the quick sell outs we have had this year, as well as all of the buzz around the new Luxe line before making this announcement.

But I would suggest that if you have made your decision – don’t wait to place your order. And I think it wise to plan to order your favorite(s) before the middle of the month.

Miche Luxe Almost Here! Classic Base Sale + Free Purse Charm!

The Miche Luxe line is almost here! Are you excited? Are you ready?

I am hearing from many of you how excited you are about the new Miche Luxe shells, and the plans you are making to ensure you will get your favorite(s) before they sell out. For the ladies in St. Paul MN planning to stake out the opening of your local Starbucks and jump into lattes and online to place your orders – I love the spirit! For those who are planning to watch round the clock with friends in shifts for the first availability – team work is beautiful! For those who are placing pre-orders with me, so you are assured of getting your favorites, but keeping your schedule – or late sleep – sane, I admire the practicality!

Whatever works best for you – that’s what matters. Just be sure not to let a favorite slip away. Miche keeps telling us that the supplies are limited for the September 2012 release of their new Luxe line. I don’t want any of you to be disappointed, and to miss out. I know the quick sell out of the Demi Ivy and Demi Glory still rankles with many of you, and I understand! At least we now know in advance that these shells are available only in limited quantites.

The latest Miche Hip Bag, Mya, is the perfect companion for a busy day on the go – when you are traveling light, and in style! Fearless is Beautiful! Meet the Miche Madison Inspiration!

The designer for the Miche bag shells is a marvel to me, and she has shared her moving inspiration behind the new Fearless line Miche Demi Madison.

Jennie Platt is the design genius behind the many, many styles and designs of the Miche bag shells. Many of us find the latest Miche line, Fearless, truly speaks to us in our own lives and the challenges we face. Today, Jennie tells the story of her inspiration for the chic new Demi Madison.

“Madison is the daughter of one of our Representatives and she definitely defines “fearless.” Madison wanted nothing more than to be a dancer, so she practiced and performed and took hours and hours of classes. In her early teens she started getting sick, and the doctors didn’t know what was wrong with her. All of her nerve endings were in pain, her vision started getting blurry and she could barely walk. Yet through it all she would still go to dance practice, even if only to watch. As her pain got worse she would suffer violent convulsions and was eventually restricted to a wheelchair. After months and months of doctors’ visits she was finally diagnosed with Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy—her blood flow was restricted to her nerves and they constantly sent pain messages. The only treatment was intense physical therapy to “work through the pain.”

Well Madison went to work—and work she did. Five hours a day. Madison was probably afraid, but she never let that stop her; her determination paid off and over time she danced again! In fact, she performed in this year’s National Dance Competition.

This young lady truly is fearless, and her story inspired us to create the unique—yet sophisticated—Madison Shell.

Like Madison, each of you is great beyond belief, and hopefully you know it. There will always be naysayers and your own fears that say, “You can’t do it”, but you owe it to yourself to be fearless. Fearless in life’s challenges and obstacles. Fearless in love and adventure. Fearless in fashion and style. Fearless in being who you are.” – Jennie Platt

What an amazing story! I will remember this and find inspiration in it as I face my own challenges. Will you do the same? Let’s take a closer look at the beautiful shell this story of strength and determination inspired:

The colors used in the Demi Madison were drawn from the dusty sand dunes of the Sahara Desert and the deepest blue of a clear midnight sky – rugged, defiant and clear all at once. The burnt caramel faux leather is a perfect contrast for that deep, deep blue. The strap detailing across the front, linked with antique brass, flaunts rather than confines the unique energy of the Madison shell.

In the close up, to the right, you can see the lovely marbled texture of both the blue and the caramel colored faux leather. The feel of this bag is super soft, and the look is so ”together”, so utterly ready-for-anything! Having read the story of Madison’s journey through pain and adversity and on into strength and beauty, I can see the inspiration brought to life in this shell.
