I confess… When I first saw Miche Demi Heather and her big sister, the Prima Maryanne in the catalog – I was not a fan. Miche May 2013 Classic Shells

In fact – let’s start with a bang! Miche Classic Mila in a fabulous glossy red faux croc texture makes an emphatic statement! Subtle shading, black top-stitching and a classic look with a twist - she is sure to please. Roomy end pockets. Miche Mila is first available to order on May 1st. Miche Classic Vicky is a lovely bronze faux lizard texture with a glossy, metallic sheen. Another classic – and a neutral, too, but with serious attitude! On trend for both the metallics and the animal print/safari look we will see so much of. You would have thought the lovely Eve would have cured me of ever thinking Miche would come out with a “just another black purse”. But I was still surprised at the wonderful detailing of Christina. So when the opportunity came for me to get the newest black Miche Demi Marlena – I jumped at it – and was not disappointed!

Incredibly soft, matte black faux leather is accented with glossy patent leather strips and straps with silver buckle detailing. This is sharp and sassy and more beautiful than you can tell from photos. I’ll have to do a video to give you a better view. $34.95

The latest Miche bag collection – Fearless! - is so extraordinary, and so extensive, I actually missed two items as I was providing you a detailed review! OOPS!

In perfect keeping with the colors and detailing of the rest of the Fearless line, Miche has released a new Hip Bag:

The latest Miche Hip Bag, Mya, is the perfect companion for a busy day on the go – when you are traveling light, and in style! This is a fully self-contained bag, 8″ x 7.5″ with her long, matching handle providing for both cross-body and over-the-shoulder toting. Not interchangeable like the rest of the Miche line, Mya is a complete package. She has 5 card slots and a zippered inner pocket with a far roomier interior than I would have believed! Mya easily holds my Miche wallet, sunglasses and lipstick with a bit of room to spare.

Her rich brown faux leather is super soft and finely pebbled in texture. With a spray of over-sized antique brass rivets, she makes a big impression for so light a bag. See the close up to the right - bohemian chic!

And the last item in this largest-ever release in Miche’s history – the Soft Wallet (Textured Black). I love the quality of the Miche soft wallets. Excellent construction and chic styling make them just right. This wallet closes with a snap rather than the magnetic closure of other Miche wallets. The ultra-soft, pebbled textured black faux leather and contrasting white stitching bring the Petite Roxy, Demi Hayden and Prima Malorie to mind. OK… Maybe these notions are silly – but they do work, don’t they?

It has just been announced that many popular Miche shells will be retired on or before August 1st. There are a huge number of wonderful new shells about to be introduced, but they are definitely fall in tone, or transitional in color and style. They are not the truly spring and summer energy of those about to leave. Miche Demi Patty, above, is one of my favorites, and in a week’s time, she will no longer be available. In the season’s hottest color, Miche Prima Raye and Classic Daisy are a ray of sunshine on any day. Daisy is on sale for under $15, and Raye will be retired by the end of this month. Catch a sunbeam and order Miche Prima Raye or Classic Daisy today!
